current workings on my short story

Sep 15, 4151, Wednesday

I haven't used an auto journal in years, but I need to document this somehow.

My cereal number is Icarus:172331

I was a member of SAS unit Extreme Combat Squadron and was discharged due to a blow to the lower body that put me out of operation permanently.

A couple of years ago I was promoted to senior detective at the EPD to work on homicides. The bullet proof skin and intense combat training that comes with being a military grade android helps with field work, so I specialize in that.

3 weeks ago, a 25-year-old novice investigator went missing and not a single person has mentioned it. Sarah was somewhat of a close college of mine that had joined the force around 10 years after I had, so I decided to try and find out what happened.

At the time she disappeared she had been independently looking into a string of disappearances that had gone Un-solved for five years.

The interesting part was that I wasn’t even informed when they all came in. This spiked my curiosity. Mob hits? A serial killer? It was suspicious to say the least. So here I am, in my apartment looking at it now and I've realised that almost a decade of missing persons cases have been swept under the rug, likely by the department itself but this explains why no one had been looking for her.
