When I was in Highschool I started developing a Social Media website called Aerowave (Yes the name sounds terrible, i know). It was a weird style of social media website that i've never seen done before, it was a mix of Reddit and Instagram. I stopped developing it in 2021 because I started having night terrors about it and stopped development.

Honestly, a weird reason to stop development of a project. However, I also understand it and respect your decision. I suspect that it was a subconscious reflections of performance anxiety, and what other people might think of your work or about creating something that grows outside of your control. Something of that nature.
You'd be a better judge of what gave you the terrors more than me. I'm just giving common reasons for them. Sourcing the origin of the issues and addressing it is often for the best. In a way, the project itself was a source of the problem.
im not gonna say what my terrors were because there super cringe. But in better news is that i used the source code for a project im working on now, i just need the hosting technology at this point lel
