The word "creepy"

So today I was talking to my friend about dolls and how they were so gorgeous. My friend then told me that he thought they looked "creepy". And of course that made me think about the word creepy. It can mean a lot of things depending on the person, as does a lot of words. But to me, I think the meaning of creepy would be something so beautiful it's offputting. That you can't look away because it is so alluring that something inside you is screaming to run, to hide. But you can't, you are too mesmerized. Idk maybe I'm crazy but that's what I think of it.
