When you rode bikes with friends from the block
When you fell off the seat and scratched your knees
When you were amazed by the beauty of trees
When you were swimming in a lake
When you took pictures of butterflies and bees
When you ran barefoot through the fields
When you painted the sun in the corner of the paper
When you made houses out of cardboard
When you played cards in the treehouse
When you watched cartoons on VHS
When you went through your dad's records
When mom took you on a secret trip to the candy shop
When you had a collection of magazines
When you were afraid of thunderstorms and the dark
When you played with your dog in the park
Things seem to have lost their spark.

life felt so lively back then, man.
tons of shit to do, risk our neck to do something funny even though if stupid, buying your own stuff with such a cheap price too, and most of all, tons of creative opportunities to create memories!
sadly, we never knew that was going to be our last day experiencing that ~
