Like i legit think there's beauty in the "it's so bad literally any moron with no talent could make it" approach but. why don't you then? That's always so mysterious to me, it's like fans of this kind of music could make it in five minutes in their room. Like really I'm trying to help you, if you write 10 of your most basic, childish, humiliatingly obvious rhymes, ("slytherin' and slytherin' are very easy to rhyme, i promise you this is true), you could make your very own song that sounds pretty close to this one. just download free software, loop 8 seconds of 2 overlapping tunes you like, and then talk about getting fucked up and fucking and doing fucking shit and being fucked, and you are there, you are really someone who matters in the world. I just found out this guy is a person on the planet, but even more astonishing is that people have PUT him in a good position by supporting his art. so really it's a hopeful story, because there might really be an audience for anything. But then i always think... why on earth do audiences exist for shit THIS bad?? Why don't you just do it yourselves?? If it's Iterally like, three sharpie colors on one white piece of paper spelling "cow" and "cunt", why do you PAY for it??? why don't you make that on your own? you could do it in five minutes and it'd be even more original and true because it's YOURS. I always think of art as something culture needs to elevate BECAUSE it contains examples of things most people truly can't do on their own... it's rare stuff. but now it's legit like, put two legos together, take a shit on the floor next to it, and literally whole groups of tragic brianless nobodys come SPRINTING over to pay REAL MONEY for it. I always loved anthropology and I'm an amateur scholar in my private time.. but please do comment and be as true and angry and funny and whatever, i NEED to know why people support stuff like this. I'm not even angry, I'm totally curious. This is like a whole subgroup of interest that I can't even begin to imagine sharing, like I can't even see a parallel to anything I value in life here, it's just nothing.
