I'll probably not finish reading anything more, so I'm posting this now!
everything here is my subjective opinion
Most fun read: World Running Down by Al Hess
--I really connected with the characters, and the world was super interesting, who doesnt love androids???
Best written: Carrie by Stephen King
--I totally get the hype, the different povs and featured "articles" was super fun
Will be thinking about a lot: Cursed Bunny - Bora Chung, Metro 2033 - Dmitry Glukhovsky
--Cursed Bunny: all the stories hit hard and leave you confused from the impact
--Metro 2033: got a little bit obsessed with this series, very very interesting world and I could scream about this book for hours
The best of the best: Metro 2033 - Dmitry Glukhovsky
--really well written, super interesting plot, loved the mc (Artyom <333), will be thinking about for years
Least fun read: All that's left in the world Erik J. Brown
--flat world and characters, the author didnt know what he wanted to happen in the story, really annoying romance, not to mention the wayyyyy too many pop culture references
Worst author: The house in the cerulean sea - TJ Klune
--it's based on/inspired by a fucking genocide but twisted into a cozy low-fantasy, it's all fluff no actual content and very heavy handed with it's messaging of "it's ok to be different!", the mc was insufferable to put it mildly
Most boring read: history is all you left me - Adam silvera
--it was just boring and kinda meh, nicely written, the mc was also insufferable
Worst of the worst: All that's left in the world Erik J. Brown
--I get angry each time I think about it, the pretty cover was wasted on this pile of garbage

also if you're reading cursed bunny pls check the trigger warnings, one of the stories is pretty disturbing and most of them also deal with really heavy topics
