I Died in My Dream Last Night

It wasn't the main focus, but I had a dream last night that I was shot through the heart and died. I've died in dreams before, so that didn't startle me, but I heard my mom's voice calling for me as everything started to fade to white, and the thought of that happening in real life made me sad.
