you don't have to do this these are just things that help me as a minor living in my parent's house with no money and not a lot of freedom
1) listening to "kawaiicore/cutecore" playlists on YouTube or Spotify helps. you can also use Pandora or Apple Music or whatever you have
2) setting up my own place to embrace cute core really helped me. having my SpaceHey acc and my Pinterest boards really helped me embrace how I feel on the inside
3) learning about J-Fashion also helped me, as well as learning about different fashion, toy, accessory, stationary, and figurine brands helped me feel and be more knowledgeable about different aspects of cute core and have more understanding of other cute themed aesthetics
4) I don't get to go places often, but when I do, I always try to look at cute things while im out. like if im at the grocery store, I might see if there's any cute water bottles or tasty foods with cute packaging(im autistic and have issues with different foods and textures, so it's oki if u can't find something in a "cute packaging" that u like)
5) if im in the mood for looking and feeling cute, I try to branch out with not just clothes, but foods, media, stationary, and utensils. I don't have much pastel clothes, so I might find a cute tv show or movie, whip out my art supplies, and/or get a snack to eat with a cute plate and cup. cute core isn't just fashion, it's a lifestyle. not just clothes have to be cute core, and you don't always have to wear cute things or eat cute food to be cute core. my favorite aesthetic is dark academia, but I also have a huge appreciation for pastel things, J-Fashion, and just a lot of cute concepts in general. cute core isn't just fashion based, there are cartoons, animes, mangas, books, graphic novels, toys, collectibles, figurines, journals, stationary, houseware, utensils, and decor that are cute core in nature. there are also many of those things that might not look cute core by itself, but when paired together with multiple things, it can have a kawaii and pastel vibe
that's all for now, but there will be more tips soon!
