Light-years :3

A light year is the amount of time it takes for light to reach a place, but it's also the reason humans can't find life in other solar systems. Say we find a planet 100 billion light years away, but if we look at it from our perspective, it's only water. We're actually seeing that planet 100 billion years ago, before any sort of life had time to develop. But if we go to the water planet and look at earth through that planet, we'd see earth, 100 billion years ago. It's basically a barrier that prevents us from seeing self aware and intelligent life. Don't take my word for it cuz I'm a 15 year old with a hyper fixation:/
