A Small Collection of Thoughts on "Ferrari"

I got home from the theater after watching "Ferrari" about an hour ago and I have a couple of thoughts.

I found the movie interesting and very aesthetically pleasing. Some of the car crash physics felt silly to watch, but I also didn't feel taken out of the movie by it or anything. Besides, I get why they did what they did. In terms of safety, it was probably the best option.

One thing "Ferrari" does very well is keeping you on edge. You watch the cars go by. You wonder what's going to happen. Who will win this race? If you get the idea that something bad is about to happen, "Ferrari" withholds it from you. That way, it really hits when it comes. Good shit.

Until the end credits, I didn't realize the movie was based on a book. I probably should've read it beforehand, but here we are anyways. I'd like to get my hands on it. It'll be nice to get more information and background.

P.S. Penélope Cruz is so hot
