Dreams. Dreams. Dreams.
They just get foggier and foggier the more I try to reach out to it. It's as if my head doesn't want me to remember, but I'm not gonna let that happen.
For my third dream documentation on Spacehey, this dream's one that's still got my mind lingering about what it could have meant, or what it was trying to tell me. I've never had a dream like it.
At least not like any other dream that I can recall.
Disclaimer for this documentation: this is a dream that I'm having difficulty recalling considering that I'm trying to reach for a dream in a dream, so the fog is quite heavy. I only remember snippets of it, but I doubt that a few of these snippets are documented in the right order of when they actually happened.
I was outside under a clear and sunny day, walking along the streets of my home's city. Cars bustling and drifting by, civilians minding their own business, and... the hell's that smell?
I looked to my left and saw smoke. Out of nowhere, people were running, trampling over each other, yelling out "The king is dead! Our king is dead!" repeatedly.
I was suddenly blown to the ground by the impact of a missile that struck a building behind me. I managed to get myself back up when a group of military marched pass me.
Everything was a mess. It was chaos.
Next thing I know, I was on my bed. I couldn’t tell what time it was. Pretty sure I had just woken up. Or...
Am I about to go to sleep? The lamp’s on, and there’s someone sleeping next to me? What the hell?
After a few seconds of discombobulation, occurred to me that I just had a dream about my city getting bombed. Wow. What a dream. I pondered about it a bit until I felt like going back to sleep.
“Dreams tell you when something happens.”
“You die.”
I started to feel myself slowly waking up on my actual bed. It was at this point where I realized that I was still dreaming. What was weird about it was that I felt my dream trying to keep itself intact despite my eyes already being half-open at that point. For a brief moment, I saw the faint light of my window.
My eyes shut itself back to sleep and the dream continued for a short while.
I was in my school classroom. My teacher, who had been discussing for as long as the dream lasted, had me bored out of my mind. I didn't realize I was beginning to fall asleep until my teacher yelled out my name again and again, until finally, I woke up for real.
This documentation sorta goes in circles. Sorry about that. I've been completely out of my mind lately.
I also haven't been blogging as much. Things have been really busy, but it's our winter break, so I've got plenty of time in my hands for now.
I've been thinking about ARGs lately. Maybe based on the concept of dreaming? I've had plenty of dreams that've left me wondering what they could possibly mean.
I'll leave that topic for another blog, perhaps.
