Character designs lately

I’ve been trying to really branch out in terms of diversity in my character designs for stories and general art skills and I’ve been thinking about how same-y character designs have been to me lately.

It’s always some conventionally attractive skinny pale fucker, especially in anime. That’s been a problem for a while but holy shit is it noticeable now. Cough. Genshin Impact.

Also thinking about how people are so resistant to accepting any character design that isn’t some conventionally attractive skinny pale fucker.

Except Spider-Verse, I guess.
