Hate

I hate poetry.

I hate the words.

I hate how it communicates to me,

The words make a form of understanding like the giving lack of emotion empathy.

I hate poetry.

I hate the feeling.

I hate always understanding it.

the way how I’m supposed to feel 

I wish I didn’t understand it like I do.

I hate poetry.

I hate the way it sounds.

The words and meanings combined as one to create some sort of feeling.

The way it makes my mind make sense.

I hate poetry.

I hate how it’s the only way I can say things.

In a dynamic poem,

I’m no poet

I’m no Edgar Allen.

I hate how poetry is the only thing that keeps me feeling human.
