No Skramz In My town :/

I live in a shitty midland town in England, the music scene here is currently so trash, every good band has either broken up, rebranded into trash or just consists of sexual assaulters, like why is it so hard to make music and NOT abuse women. They’re all posers, nothing about you is alt or punk or whatever when you do that shit.

Also the music itself is so dried out, everyone wants to make the exact same boring punk, shoegaze or indie alt rock and it ALL SOUNDS THE EXACT SAME. No one is pushing any musical boundries around me and its pissing me off, no one is making good music, no one is throwing any diy shows and no one is trying. People just wait for the dogshit venue to host the same lineup as it did last week, go and have some drama then complain about it.

Hopefully Nasze starts playing local shows by summer 2024 and we get some basement shows and diy shows going, anywhere literally anywhere idec anymore, got a dirty attic let me in, run down kitchen? Abandoned building? Suburban garden? Who cares!

And these shows will NOT be open to posers but to real punk enthusiasts, the town is pretty small and I know a lot of people in all the different scenes and I’m sorry if I sound pretentious for not allowing randos but I KNOW THESE PEOPLE AND I KNOW WHO ARE POSERS. I’m not saying I’ll have a damn bouncer outside to stop them from getting in, I just mean that I’ll only tell the people I know are real and make it verrrryyyy hard for those people to find the show but if someone tells them or they find out somehow then they are more than welcome to come through. The problem I have is that they are all waiting for the music to come to THEM but no you have to put in the effort, YOU have to go searching and find it, thats the least you could do to pay the debt to the music that sets the tone of your life.

Anyways, please dm about real emo/screamo/skramz bands inz the uk that are ACTIVE, I want to go to some shows!!!
