MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

ahhhh, i am FINALLY cozy in my bed, wrapped snug in my blankets, and am finally ready for the moment i been waiting for all day today: to write my christmas day blog. i didn’t wanna do it while i was out and about, because i realized with the christmas eve blog that doing that method made it waaaayy too jam packed. nobody wants THAT much icarus in one day, not even me!!! so i am laying in bed and snuggling my plushies, and i am more than excited to finally write about my fun day!!!! :)

there will be no pics or blinkies in this post because i’m in bed and i’d have to pull up my pc if i wanted to efficiently code things in. sorryyyy!!… not really lawl… >:)

it all started when i woke up at 11:30 AM on christmas morning. but hey, isn’t that a little past “very fucking late”? you may be asking yourself, “hey icarus, why would you wake up so late for the most exciting day of the year?” BECAUSE I WAS FORCED AGAINST MY WILL ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT PLAYING ETERNAL UNO.

The Terrifying Tale of Eternal Uno

it started off as a normal, run-of-the-mill family game night. we played a few rounds of my personal favorite card game, “exploding kittens”. we then decided to play a round of uno. after that normal, brisk game of uno, we made but the most terrible, most ignorant of decisions: to start a final round of uno for the night. 

“It’s only 12:00 AM! How long could it POSSIBLY last?…”

the game started at 12:00 AM… things seemed normal at first. +4’s being passed around, skips and reverses galore…

Then 1:00 AM passed… a few people reached uno by this point, but eventually had to pull, like, 20 cards. kinda wonky, but we viewed this as a more… entertaining game than usual. surely it’d end soon.

2:00 AM passes… it’s… it’s gonna end soon… right?

3:00 AM passes. my throat hurts from talking so much. since i am tired i go up to bed, being forced to forfeit.

THE GAME LASTED FROM 12:00 AM TO 3:18 AM. MY DAD REIGNED VICTORIOUS.

now that i explained why i woke up so late on christmas morning, let’s get to the nitty-gritty of it all: what happened on christmas day. sooo… basically i got some KICKASS PRESENTS!!!! for starters, i got 5 pokemon blister packs, and then the 151 Alakazam EX box set!! (yes, i still collect pokemon cards at the fossil age of 18… stop laughing at me!!!!!!) BUT THE BUCK DON’T STOP THERE!!!! on the LAST pokemon pack i had, I PULLED A CHARIZARD EX SECRET RARE FULL ART FROM 151!!! (183/165)… THAT’S A CURRENTLY $30 DOLLAR CARD RIGHT THERE!!!! and since it’s charizard, the price will surely skyrocket in later years… sooooo yeah i’m practically a millionaire now. i should go and purchase a mansion off a cliff in beverly hills right now, and they’ll look into my bank account and see nothing and ask me “wtf are you paying with?!” and i pull out a top-loaded, penny sleeve with THAT bad boy ‘zard inside. they’d instantly fall to the floor and lick my boots and give me the keys. they’d throw roses at me. i’d be a hero. 

anyways dear lord i go off in tangents. like i said, i’m a chatter!!! a total chatcel!!! i’m talkmaxxin ova here!!! anyways that was so kickass. but then i got two adorable plushies, one of eevee and one of pikachu!!! yeah i should explain that i’m currently hyperfixated on pokemon. mainly the cards & kinda also the games. i got a massive collection dating back to like 2014 cards. but i have shit luck so like 10 of the 82384839492 cards i have are actually worth more than 30 cents lawl. ok anyways anyways anyways!!!! back to what i got for christmas!!! i got an air purifier, a yellow stanley drinking cup (i had to see what the 30 year old tiktok moms were so obsessed with… i needed a portable cup to bring to work okay…), a ufo journaling book with ufo sightseeing guides (ufos are one of my most special interests), a mini thermal printer that works like a charm, a FUCKASS mini projector (i’ll get into that lil shit later), gloves and an eyemask..?? (those were kinda weird but i am not a jerk so i just smiled and said thank you), and last but BY GOD not least… 150 PRISMACOLOR COLORED PENCILS!!! YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! so i’d say it was an epic christmas!!!!

ALSO my disappeared brother got my other brother an incredible gaming computer, and we finally got to talk more than usual which made me happy. i call him my disappeared brother because he was gone for a good portion of my life, essentially during my most formative years, so when he was finally able to return things were kinda awkward with the two of us, because we have forgotten about the personalities and interests of one another. i always wished to rekindle it but didn’t know how. but we talked about games we liked, and it was awesome!! man… it kinda makes me cry 1 tear right now of happiness.. also my other brother might get ultrakill on his new pc!!!!! WOOOO!!!!

tonight we played exploding kittens again, uno again (normal rounds thank GOD), but tonight’s slog was scrabble. it ended at like 1 am this time, so it wasn’t as terrible, but it was because people used the most bizarre of words so it was hard to continue. BUT YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT STARTING WORDS I GOT AT THE BEGINNING OF SCRABBLE…

P-E-N-I-S… LMAOOOOO!!!!!!!

i wanted to use it but i never was able to due to other stupid ass words blocking the way. i failed the universe.

and the last thing that happened tonight… remember how i called that mini projector “fuckass”? BECAUSE APPARENTLY YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A WHOLE SEPARATE ADAPTOR TO PLUG IT INTO YOUR PHONE! WHEN IT WAS ADVERTISED AS BEING ABLE TO CONNECT TO YOUR PHONE!!! i wanted to take the little bastard and SMASH it i was so pissed… but my parents said they’d go ahead and get it for me tomorrow so that was very nice of them! 

OH OH I FORGOT I FORGOT!!! i got my kitty a present! c: i got her 2 yarn balls, and i wrapped them up, put a ribbon on the wrapping paper, and i put treats inside so she’d paw at it and “open” her present! she… KIIIIIIINDA did. i essentially had to rip it open in front of her lol. she’s not the most hyper/playful… but she was LOUDLY purring and had the CUUUTEST loving eyes!!!! i could tell she was so happy to join in on the christmas fun!!! ;—; soooo cute!!!! kitty!!!!! (i say kitty but she’s 9 years old… always a kitty in my heart!!)
