Christmas 2023!!

Okay, so obviously, today was Christmas!!!! It was SO FUN!!!

Last night we read our dog Night Before Christmas book and set out cookies for Santa, which is always two of my fave things to do before going to bed on Christmas Eve!! Plus opening my Christmas jammies from my mom!! But then I went to bed early so that Santa had more time to fill mine and my sisters stockings...

Anyway, when I woke up, my family and I opened our stockings!! It was really sweet, I always enjoy doing it. After that, I handed out the presents to everyone! My mom got A LOT!!! My step dad Russell really got her some nice stuff :3

I got some cool things too!! I got a cool aquarium light, Fight Club (book), a weighted seal plush, a Snoopy calendar, some pants, a white button down shirt, two ties, loooots of fingerless gloves, candles, two Talking Heads CDs, Stop Making Sense on DVD, the complete collection of Neon Genesis Evangelion on DVD, a heated blanket, and a new pocket knife!!! And of course some money from the grammies!!

I'm very thankful for everything I got and the fact that I am able to have such a nice Christmas!

After that, me and my mom made breakfast together, biscuits and gravy, and it was soooo good!! Then I put my stuff away and helped clean up a bit. We didn't have any family over or anything since we saw them the day before. My boyfriend did visit though!! That was nice :3 I love him I'm always so happy when I get to see him.

Dinner was very good. Russell smoked some prime rib and my mom made this really amazing salad to go with it. It was awesomeee my mom also made a sauce to go with the meat and it was sooooooo good. 

After dinner, I cleaned the kitchen and we drove around to look at Christmas lights!!! We don't live in a place with a lot of houses, kinda in the middle of no where, so we wanted to go drive and look at lights :-] They were really pretty!!

We didn't do anything after that, so now I'm just writing before bed. Tomorrow, I'll be going over to my boyfriends and meeting up with him and our friend to exchange gifts!! I'll update with what I got then too!
