merry chrissed mas!!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! 

Personally, i celebrate Yule with my immediate family on the 21st, and do bigger celebrations with my extended family today! I have a big family dinner in about 2 hours, and I got a new laptop today! maybe this one has the hookup for my big fancy roller mouse. I'm listening to the MCR CD that i got for Yule, absolutely jamming. IDK what i'm gonna get from my grandparents or my aunt and uncle yet, but i do know that i'm absolutely hyped. It's actually amazing how excited I am. 

I used to hate this time of year, back when i was 13 and fake edgy and in a much less than prestigious financial position. But I've grown up a lot, and now the gifts aren't really what matter. Family and togetherness is what truly matters this time of year. You have to learn to appreciate that before you can truly appreciate anything else. You gotta be happy with what you've got, and what I've got is family and music and a lot to be grateful for. I

'm grateful for the fact that i'm still alive, that i got thru this literal hell of a year and made it out unscathed on the other side. I'm glad that I've lived to find myself with such good friends, even better music, and a loving family. That's not a grace that many people get. I'm glad i get to love, and to be loved by, so many amazing people. 

Everyone has been telling me how proud of me they are, and y'know what? I think 2024 is going to be the year where i finally accept that. I have gotten thru a lot, and survived, and that's a thing to be proud of. I'm proud of all of you, too.
