I can't stop buying things

This year I got a job and I also got a debit card so I've been buying things. These include gifts for friends and families birthdays and charismas gifts. The thing is I can't stop buying things and I'm concerned it's going to effect my spending habits in the future. My mom is driving me crazy about it bc I got her 3 xmas gifts.
