I wish...

Tim rolled his eyes, having to listen to his friend go on about a TV show. It wasn't that Tim wasn't interested, but he was thinking about something else at the time. 

"You good Tim?" Daniel asks, interrupting George from talking. 

Tim snaps out of his thoughts and nods. "Yeah sorry, thinking about something."

George, now getting interested in Tim's thoughts, leans forward almost telling Tim to tell them all his thoughts. Tim ignores it though and takes a long sip from his soda cup. George grumbles but goes back about talking about something. This leaves Tim to dwell in his thoughts again. 

Daniel's smile... his laugh... god he was perfect.

Tim's face flushes, but he immediately hides it. He was straight, Daniel was straight and dating someone for god's sake! Tim tried to throw his thoughts out his window, but he couldn't for some reason. 

In his thoughts, Daniel would tell Tim how much he loved him, even though he was a boy. Though it would never happen, ever. Tim paused for a second at a random thought. What if... What if Tim became a girl. Then Daniel would love him. But it wouldn't be him... 

Tim sighed and ignored his thoughts, pouring all his attention on George's story. 

I wish I could be a girl, and that way you'd wish I could be your girlfriend, boyfriend. Am I pretty enough to lie to? I wish I could a girl, and that way you'd wish I could be your girlfriend, boyfriend. Little old me in a big world. I wish I were a girl...
