Euphoria <3

Do you ever feel the stars align around you? It was perfect. We never have club mix CDs come into the store, but there it was. The label literally said "trance party" ... I doubt I've ever smiled so wide over a cd. 

I do our paperwork after closing and let me tell you, I'm talking about nickels and dimes here... coins that go back and forth nonstop for 8 hours straight. Every night our over/short calculations balance out to something between $1 and $3 .... but tonight? Tonight something I thought I'd never see happened. Everything balanced out perfectly. Down to the exact penny. It was like magic. It didn't occur to me exactly how fulfilling that was to me until I Z'd out the tills and witnessed them read back "even" under every tender. That CD I bought earlier was my soundtrack of the night, and this Kate Ryan song, "U R (My Love)" was playing as I printed the Z reports. I was already tripping on how much I loved the rest of the mix, but this song found some untouched place in my heart. It was perfect. It was simply euphoric. That's what it's like to feel the stars align around you.
