AJ gets into trouble at school for skipping classes and smoking pot. His principal decides to send him to the school counselor, Mrs. Jones, who turns out to be the same one that I myself had to see in 4th and 5th grade. Mrs. Jones tries to psychoanalyze AJ and blames his problems on his family and upbringing. She also snoops on his social media accounts and finds out that he is dating a girl named Rhiannon, who is two years older than him. She tells AJ that he is too young to be in a serious relationship and that he should focus on his studies and future. She also calls Tony and Carmela and informs them of AJ’s situation, and advises them to be more strict and involved in his life.
Tony and Carmela are furious with Mrs. Jones for meddling in their family affairs and for making AJ feel worse about himself. They decide to confront her at the school and demand that she leave AJ alone. However, Mrs. Jones refuses to back down and insults Tony and Carmela for being bad parents and for being involved in organized crime. She also threatens to report them to the authorities if they don’t cooperate with her. Carmela loses her temper and slaps Mrs. Jones across the face, causing her to fall to the ground. Tony then grabs Carmela and drags her out of the school, while Mrs. Jones screams and calls for security.
The episode ends with Tony and Carmela driving away from the school, while AJ watches from a window. He smiles and gives them a thumbs up, feeling proud and relieved that his parents stood up for him. He then texts Rhiannon and tells her that he loves her and that they should meet up later. Rhiannon replies with a heart emoji and agrees.
