Yes! I like also the version of the Madness and other artists like Laurel Aitken and for 2 tones ska style The (English) Beat, The Specials and The Selecters. I discover The Beat band thanks a short movie called The Fence where "Mirror In The Bathroom" is on the soundtrack
nice man, i'm really into traditional stuff myself. prince buster, justin hinds, toots & the maytals, the clarendonians, the techniques, pat kelly, and i like stuff from rocksteady and reggae eras as well. primarily a big fan of the JA stuff
Then I also like a German band from the 80s, the United Balls. I discovered them thanks to a compilation of bands of all kinds genres close to punk and for Ska music they were in with "Pogo In Togo".
Nice, only German ska band I know is yellow umbrella, but I’ve heard some Italian stuff too, by mr t bone, and some Belgian band called the moon invaders who are also dope

Man, I personally hate being called a gate keeper bc I think trad ska is ska, and “ska-punk” is punk with horns
