Why Rock bands (specifically nu-metal) were better during the late 90's and Early 2000/s

You all can say my opinion doesn't matter but I don't care I'm gonna rant about if you like it or not!

So, Nu-Metal a genre in the Rock/Metal family with mix's of rap and alternative for example the prime and peak of Nu-Metal was during the late 90's and Early 2000's for example Korn the Nu-Metal Band was heavily popular during the late 90's and making hits and having Fred Durst sing and some of their songs aka the lead singer of Limp Bizkit, another known Nu-Metal Band also popular at that time also to mention how mainstream it was with how music was heavily popular with many performances and such now during the 2000's was when it got popular hence the unpopular prequel to "Interviews with the Vampire" which was a movie made in 1994 but the actual prequel was called "Queen of the Damned" which was made in 2002 and the movie soundtrack is known Nu-Metal bands like Papa Roach, Deftones, Wayne Static, Marilyn Mason, Jay Gordon, and other bands and introduced a new wave of mainstream Nu-Metal bands and song (also go watch the movie it's AWESOME) just the songs and music alone were awesome and just so creative and way before it's time I honestly just love it!!
