why most people do not like maths

most people after a while of learning maths eventually go: "in what scenario would i ever need this for in the real world?" which is true to some extent, but i think the real reason why you learn maths is to develop problem-solving skills. another reason is that when you start learning maths, it's basic numbers and you go "ok this is easy i can see some use in this" but when you go to algebra and they start throwing in letters in there, you become very lost without being able to understand any of it and when you get to calculus you will be extremely lost

another reason people may not like maths is because schools present it and teach it in such a complicated way and if you don't get it first try they just say you're not made for the subject
