i think someone wrote this year's December wrong

first it's a shooting in Prague, and now it's my mom telling me and my sisters we don't have enough money for presents or Christmas dresses this year. 

not that i mind the latter, though, but i suppose thst means i won't be getting a laptop this year, unless one of my relatives got me one and i didn't notice it when my grandma unpacked the presents she brought from her side, but i doubt it, none of them are the same size as a laptop box. my mom also said we could wait until the 15th of next year to get presents from them, and i think that works out for me, honestly, since my birthday's eight days after, so double pressies! xP

oh, well, at least we won't be attending church on Christmas day, hallelujah. i don't want a back-to-back church service day, otherwise, i'd go mental. please, if there is a celestial deity up there, please don't remind my parents to wake me up for church on Sunday either :'< /lh /j
