bass update!!

i was tuning my bass the other day and the e string just fucking snapped. the top of it was uncoiled so i thought if i kept tuning it would eventually fix itself. SPOILER!!! it did not. i literally got it the other day too. it makes sense though because it was my cousins and it hasnt been touched in YEARSSSS. so i ordered a replacement string on amazon but since im still new to playing an instrument (except my failed viola adventure in 4thb grade) i dont even think i got the right type. anyways its a standard bass so if you know anythign about it pls lmk.
