First blog post :333 (PJO fic ideas??)

Idk how to start this blog post :p I’ve had space hey for like over half a year and just never used it but i suppose since it’s (basically) the new year I might as well start!

My names aspen but I also go by Asp or Ambrosiaa online ^^ 

I’m an aspiring marine biologist but some say I’m so annoying that I should look into politics too. 

Anywho the purpose of this blog post. If you’ve looked at my general interests, I left a VERY subtle, INCREDIBLY hard to notice, mention of my love for Percy Jackson (I was very secretive about it) and with the release of the TV show, me and my friend, humantrexhybrid, decided to make OCs (because we’re both very cool). This got me thinking, if our OCs were self inserts how would they get to America? Because we’re both dirty Britons, we’d have a hard time crossing the Atlantic. We landed on just making them inspired by us and giving them their own backstories and such.

But I let my mind wander, like usual. Nico and Bianca Di Angelo were both born in Italy So surely there’s a few British demigods, right? Then my mind wandered even further, (if you’re wondering, judging from how much I wander, yes I refuse to walk on paths and yes my shoes are always caked in mud) I thought if the Greco-Roman gods followed wherever increased advancement was happening, surely during the Industrial Revolution they’d be in The UK during that period? I then began to think about how the transition from Britain to ‘MURICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅 happened. Was it gradual or immediate and sudden, I like the idea of the latter half. So I began think of a super duper uber awesome fanfic about demigods from the 1840s and the gods leaving them to fend for themselves. As I enjoy sociology I could tie the extreme class divide into the characters too. Of course this is in ridiculously early stages, lacking a proper name, however it’s literally the only thing that’s interesting for me to write about.

I know literally like 5 people are gonna see this, only 2 of which will probably care but I still want to know you guys’ thoughts on it! I really struggle to actually finish fanfics so I’m hoping some encouragement will do some good!
