discussing xenoids and xenos!

   Hello all :D!! I am interested in a civil public conversation abt this recent discovery of mine and encourage everyone to interact w their opinions!

   I am a huge fan of unique forms of self expression. This includes everything!! fashion, art, online presence ect. Of course all within respectful rights to everyone, if your form of expression isnt harming yourself or anyone else, its awesome!! 

   My fanship of unique expressions mostly focuses on gender identites! ever since I was a wee boy on the interwebs I have loved learning about different genders. As a kid my family did not force gender roles, and honestly I dont remember even knowing if I was a girl or a boy. It wasnt a big topic on my mind, nor one I understood fully. When I got older I identified with nonbinary and fluid genders!

   THEN I SAW XENOGENDERS *magic sparkling sounds*. The colours, the symbols and vectors, the unique individuality. I am hooked by them, i love learning about different ones and seeing all the different flags. I think being able to hear about peoples experiences with their own gender is sm fun. 

   Another thing I love even more is xeno/neo pronouns. I use them myself!!! I think they are the siliest things and they bring me joy (xneo pronoun users rise). I am also personally a fan of linguistics, and sometimes new pronouns can be confusing to use. For me this is no problem, it is actually a nice puzzel :D I get to learn to respect someones personal preferences and how to use a new set of pronouns! 

    Now! onto the main topic of the blog. Xenoids! Xenoidentities or xenoids for short, are a type of personal identity. I think it is sort of where someone believes something/one (like forms of media, objects ideas etc) is a huge and important part of their personal identity. It has nothing to do with gender or any part of the LGBTQIA+ (im not sure if more letters have been added pls spare me). Ofc I just learned abt this new thing today! If my definition or understanding is incorrect please kindly inform me ^^

   I did some research of course, to the best of my ability. To my knowledge, xenoidentities were started and coined by transmeds/truscum (I am not sure if either terms are offensive to these groups of people, again I would appreciate any corrections to my knowledge needed). From the things ive read on reddit from those certain groups, they believe xenogenders are invalid, because they believe transgenderism is a problem of the brain, or a medical problem. They invented xenoids to replace xenogenders as a more ideal version I think? they also coined nicknouns, which is a replacement for xeno/neo pronouns! 

   Similarly, but slightly different, are xenogenders. Of course a xenogender is a gender identity based around themes, objects, things etc! From what I have seen and experienced, this are often used by ND individuals who have different understandings of gender! Sometimes xeno users use xeno/neo pronouns!! Neopronouns are just new pronouns! and ofc xenopronouns are pronouns with themes/objects/ etc. 

   SHORT INTERJECTION FROM MIKEY!!: remember! pronouns and gender do not have to match ^^ 

   Newish xenoid users have seperated themselves from their transmed origins I think! However, I am seeing a lot of discourse from about a year ago in a few places. People are confused about their differences, or the points of one or the other. Xeno and xenoid users claim xenoidentities are inherently anti-xeno, and that they can not coexist. This also brings up the topic that xenogenders are anti-trans, infantalize ND individuals, and are mocking. 

    I do not think xenos are hurting anyone at all! I believe other peoples identity should not get in the way of your personal experience at all as long as they follow the rule of respect and ofc common sense. Transness is a huge umbrella!! I think people who express their gender in an unconventional/inhuman way do not affect the community in a harmful way, unless that is their intention. 

    I do not have similar opions to transmeds, but I think their concept detached from their beliefs is pretty neat!! The way xenoidentities came around should not affect the users who have created a new meaning for it however. I believe you can make most things positive/unharmful if you do it right. 

    In my opinion I think both have good uses, and can super exist together!! It would actually make senes for an individual to use both! I have never identified with a xenogender, because I believe my gender identity is too complex to indentify with just one thing (and Im not a fan of having several unconnected xenos for myself). Xenoids could help in situations like this, where one has several extremely personal things that make up their identity, but dont affect their gender completely or at all!
