The new idiots

This research is gonna kill me. (TW!! MENTIONS OF DEATH AND SUICIDE AHEAD)

I have formally decided that last night has begun the process of watching/reading all of the interviews featuring these idiots. Dead and Euronymous. This story (from what I've gathered) goes "couple of teens decide its a good idea to make a band. With Euronymous's invention of Norwegian black metal things go sideways as the lead singer kills himself. Things spiral further as Euronymous makes enemies with the bands new bassist. And eventually this led to him being stabbed." My research has led to an attempt at unmasking Euronymous. Since he died so young (25) and was apparently putting on a huge persona and show, no one really agrees on what he was really like. The band members claim he was an ass. Everyone else who ever met him (including his own family and a "girl best friend") said he was sweet as can be. The interviews don't really give anyone a good look into who he really was as (I'm pretty sure) he had a tendency to blow up and get really pissed for some reason. So this hunt for interviews led me to a reddit forum dedicated to finding any sort of footage, interviews, or photos of the original band and lo and behold! There's an entire post about who he might've actually been. There were multiple accounts from people who actually met and partied with this guy. All stating that he was actually really intelligent and funny. This leads me to my next topic. Dead was the lead singer who killed himself. Apparently, Euronymous encouraged Dead's suicidal tendencies and exploited it for the "sick and evil" side of the band. There was an entire post about the fact that Euronymous actually cared about him. (He still did all that godawful stuff but hey) Dead would take knives onstage and cut himself during shows so as a precaution, Euronymous would call hospitals before the shows in case they needed help. There was even instances where Dead would get entirely too drunk and attempt to hurt himself and Euronymous would handcuff him to beds to get him to sleep. 

Anyway (don't mind me casually freaking out about this strange hyperfixation I have to get rid of it somehow) when I read about Euronymous actually caring for Dead to my sister, we both said in unison "they're gay". And that's the whole reason for this.
