Posting to see signs of life in this here parts
There only seems to be activity in bulletins,, cant seem to find any new posts in the blogs section,,, and nobody seems to do anything in groups (not even the more popular ones seem to have any activity in this recent year)
Guess I should break the ice with a question: For anybody whos been using the site a lot longer than I have,,,, uhhh whats it like?
has things gotten better? Checked the blog search for the first time and the most popular blogs seem to be....... fucking callout posts for so many fucking pedos and a block and report list

Some people read the blogs, but it’s mainly just Bulletins I think. People on the internet have become more reclusive and only stick around friends along with DNI lists a mile long, man. It’s so disheartening!! Augh!!
Also, “DNI lists a mile long” is referring to people that are like, ‘DNI if you like this anime twink more than me’ just for clarification LMAO

YEAH its so frustrating
I kinda get it TBH, as somebody who's ass is way too anxious and paranoid to be as open as I was when I was younger, bc social media has simultaneously gotten nicer and wayy more.. how do u say hostile? than it was back in the 2000s
idk like,,, back in the early 2000s ppl were way more willing to be vocal? if u get what I mean
For example as an artist, from what I remember posting way back then before the Anxiety hit:
When u posted something, ppl will be very vocal and enthusiastic abt it
If they like ur post, they will comment how much they ADORE it
If they dont like it, they will not hesitate to fucking FLAME u man
and when that happens it fucking suuucks
But a part of me kind of prefers it in comparison to now where u might get a comment if ure lucky
But I was hoping spacehey was going to be diff man :/
tbh it is ironic of me to make a post to see if ppl were alive as someone who currently does not have the energy for friendships atm,, but I was at least willing to try and interact with blogposts that intrigued me since ppl seemed a bit cooler down here
~~or so i thought looking further in the blogposts,,,, damn this place got weirdos (positive, as in folks willing to be free and cringe :D ) and weirdos (negative, as in outright assholes)~~

Yeah I get it man. I’m extremely socially awkward and drained all of the time… along with any conversation I have in IMs being awkward and dying after a week maximum.
I like the isolation of it but also ehh… it’s called social media for a reason and I’m tired of staring at random ass teenagers going like, “I love my oomfs! Also a cockroach got wedged up my ass!” In the Bulletins, it’s just depressing?? I say this even though I shit myself and cry when I get an IM but like still.
I wasn’t really around on the ‘old internet’ [like Newgrounds in the early 2000s] but people were a lot more open in the 2010s, y’know? And it’s honestly weird thinking about that now.
I hate to say it, but even Amino felt less isolated than the current internet. Despite how fucking shitty that app was, it was really open and people actually interacted with things like groups and DMs and such… Like, Forums and Groups would’ve been so cool if people actually used it and it would’ve really helped this app to be a cool megazone blah, blah, blah…
I’m rambling. My bad. But yeah I totally agree TL;DR!
