Death in my art's universe

My art is all in one universe, so every one of my drawings are connected. And this means that there are obviously gonna be things that are different and work in a certain way. I have many of these but the one I'll be talking about on this is death. 

Now death works normally on how you can naturally or be murdered, but what's different in the universe of my art is what happens after death. No matter where you are there is a open area or usually a small-medium sized hill. What these areas have to do with death is that after a person dies they end up floating up into the atmosphere. So what happens is people will take the bodies before they start to float up (they have about 24 hours give or take until the body starts to float) and they strip the body of its clothes and place them on these hills or open areas so that they can go up. Now what happens with the bodies when they go up is that all of them just keep floating until they reach space and then they just build up around the earth, think of how the earth was surrounded by satellites in Wall-E but instead of satellites its just bodies. (And note that the process of the bodies floating up is constantly happening everywhere all the time.) However on their way up two things (so far I only have two) can happen. 

The first thing that can happen as the bodies go up is that they can end up being trapped in clouds. Now the clouds basically have a consciousness as they each have three eyes that watch everything, and they usually are looking at the main character or point of focus in my art. But for the bodies they serve as almost obstacles. On their way up the bodies will often get trapped in these clouds, but becoming trapped in these they almost wake up in a way because once in the clouds they begin to feel lonely and that feeling grows. So what they do in this weird woken up state is they start to pull in other bodies into the cloud that they're trapped in so they don't feel so alone. And those bodies go through the same process and they drag in more bodies, and this constantly happens. Which is almost strange because no matter how many bodies are pulled in the clouds almost never appear to get too full, however they do have body parts sticking out but its mostly arms to pull in more bodies and occasionally a leg because a body got turned around.

The second thing that can happen to the bodies as they float up is that they can pop, just like a balloon. Now with this I like to look at it as a heaven and hell situation where when they float to space its like heaven and if they pop its like hell, however it could be the other way around depending on how you like to look at it. Anyways the bodies do have a chance of just exploding into blood and guts in the air, which obviously causes problems. All of that doesn't just disappear so when this first started to happen the government obviously knew that they had to do something about it since it was causing a constant rain of blood and guts, almost like a storm. So what the government did was they created a type of net thing just below where the bodies end up popping to catch the blood and guts. (Don't ask me what it is or how it works I don't know yet.) But what this net like thing in the sky does is it holds all that blood and the guts ( still haven't decided if they collect the guts and organs or they just turn it into blood) and it gathers it until it becomes too full. When it starts to become too full it releases the blood in a mist instead of a rain. (I still haven't decided if the mist is everywhere or just in certain areas, this idea is still pretty new and I'm still working on it) But with this blood mist in only certain parts of the world there is a chance that something will happen during the blood mist, and that is a baby shower. Now when I say baby shower I mean a literal shower of infants. A very very tall pregnant woman will walk to certain areas when a blood mist is happening and she will squat over that area and give birth. But this birth is a constant stream of newborns, which causes it to be a shower, of babies. Now obviously as these babies fall from a height like that they will end up dying, (R.I.P newborns) and as they die the mother is obviously very upset so you will end up hearing her cries as the children fall onto the pavement, or into buildings, etc. (I haven't really decided if her tears are involved with anything, like causing a bit of an actual rain, or if its just a noise that you can hear. 

But yeah that's all I have for now about death in my arts universe. I have a lot of other things that I will probably end up writing about on here that's in my arts little universe. Thank you for reading!
