I have had covid for the last 3 days (womp womp), so I've been stuck in my room going stir-crazy. As I'm sitting in my chair browsing through the "trending" section of Steam games, I found it, my saving grace for the weekend. (the) Gnorp Apologue. It's an Idle clicker, but it's still rather involved with the player's actions. I spent 6 hours on this game yesterday, mindlessly watching my tower of shards (the in-game currency, basically rocks) build-up. I have never been so invested in something and so bored at the same time. The strategies you have to figure out to make your Gnorps work as efficiently as possible are crazy. The balance you have to have between collection and destruction. There's so much that goes into this, and yet so little at the same time.
I'm going insane.
Yours truly,
