"There Is a Wolf Outside My Home"

there is a wolf outside my home

he scares the neighbors

he makes kids and pets run inside

and he howls every night 

my friend says the wolf killed her chickens

shes never seen the wolf but shes heard the howl

"the wolf is howling as a threat to our safety"

i dont think thats true

ive seen the wolf

the wolf never hurt me

and he howls every night

i had a bad day

my friend doesnt like that i dont believe her

i broke my favorite glass

and i fell in the shards

but the wolf is still here

and he howls every night

everything is changing

the kids dont play outside anymore and pets arent left unsupervised

my friend is gone and my favorite glass is broken

people say that this wouldnt have happened if the wolf wasnt here

the wolf never hurt me

there is a wolf outside my home

he doesnt change

he doesnt bite me

i hope he'll always howl every night
