I really like Sewerslvt, I'm just saying that it's not breakcore. In fact, when I started to become interested in the genre I also made the mistake of labelling anything breakbeat as "breakcore". Most people call most breakbeat genres breakcore because of the absolute mindfuck that is identifying electronic genres. Sewerslvt mostly falls into the category of DnB/Atmoshperic Jungle. If you want to fall deeper into the life ruining, brain destroying rabbit hole that is the breakcore scene I could recommend you some artists like: Venetian Snares Duran Duran Igorr Doormouse etc...
An easier way to understand the early breakcore scene is this old video documentary because it shows many breakcore artists with their different styles:

Most people nowadays just mimic Sewerslvt or Machine Girl's style and call it a day. The thing is... most people haven't even listened to actual breakcore (I don't blame them though) Confusing breakcore with DnB is like confusing Blues with Death Metal just because they both use drums.
