Why was "The Cleveland Show" so bad???

I'm going back and watching some of the episodes and I noticed that this spin off was the shortest and not that good, I'm guessing it's because it wasn't that funny?

Like Family guy was funny and sometimes fell flat with the offensive jokes but sometimes they came back good with the jokes. American dad was the best spin off because it wasn't too offensive but also poking fun at things without going overboard with the whole shock value type of humor.

Cleveland Show was just bad in my eyes because the main and constant punchlines of the show is that Cleveland lives next to a white supremacists and that Donna is a single mother and her kids have no father figure. So even before the joke is told the audience already know where the joke is going.. but then that's just my perspective because I'm black and often you can tell when a show writer is white.

Then again shock value humor was never that funny to begin with, you aren't even laughing because it's funny but often from you being uncomfortable.
