Nicki was always lyrically talented but this album wasn't giving pink Friday vibes with the originality or with Roman coming out. There was so many samples and of her singing I just didn't care for it, like you're a rapper for a reason..
And then the Billie song was so ??? Cuz why not just do a song with her instead of using her sing the whole way through? But there are SOME songs that sounded nice to me like "Bahm Bahm", "FTCU" and "Big difference".
I think this was supposed to be her mic drop album.. like saying she made it and done with it since she already had her long run and influenced female rap even more bigger on a scale than it was before she was in the rap game.

fr! like i agree. i liked 'everybody' but i wished she rapped more on the track than the whole song being "blah blah everybody!" like give us more! the beat was a good beat to rap on!
She just need to leave the samples alone

finally someone had to say it. and even if it had sm samples they weren't even blended properly, lyrically wise it felt rushed and then she slapped a random youtube beat on it with a loud sample in the background. originality and depiction of this album was so mid. it was hyped and teased for a whole year but never met up to initial expectations :(
