story about my warlock being a dumbass

i was playing a warlock for the last year in an avernus campaign

he was a greedy idiot

i wrote a story about him ignoring an obvious warning and picking up a soul-destroying magical sword because he thought it would be cool

and now he's a paladin ^{woah! that's a bit of a change from a warlock in service to the literal god of murder!}_{but really, is it?}

cw: somewhat gruesome. and spoilers for the descent into avernus module.

also you might not get all the references. but i did try to make it approachable.
