I think that A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out is genuinely a masterpiece. It combines so many musical elements to create something so original that there hasn’t been anything like it before or after its release. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out combines elements of dance music and baroque pop. In the middle of the album, the song Intermission marks the split from dance/pop punk music to baroque pop. This is proved by the “lyrics” of the song saying:
“Ladies and gentlemen, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to continue our broadcast of dance music. We shall continue now with our piano interlude”
The piano interlude marks the beginning of the baroque pop music.
The lyrics in the songs tell in-depth stories and have deep meanings behind them. For instance, the songs Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks and Camisado talks about Ryan Ross’ father’s battle with substance abuse. The imagery that Ryan Ross uses in the songs on the album create a clear image in the listeners head proves that he is a lyrical genius.
In conclusion, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out is a lyrical and musical masterpiece and nothing has been able to even come close to the genius that is Ryan Ross’ storytelling and lyric writing abilities.
if something is incorrect ……… no its not
