My Book Review of "The Orc Wife" by S.J Sanders

This does have spoilers in it. So best read or listen to a reading of the book if it is something you're interested in reading.  I found a reading of it on YouTube.  Just search "The Orc Wife -S.J. Sanders- MM  Romance Audiobook" & then you will find it. The book reading is almost 8 hours long. I was however hooked so the length of it didn't bother me.

So the story starts out with Sammy who lived in Alaska. This guy she was seeing named Travis originally setup a romantic getaway cabin for them in the winter. She gets there to find out Travis wasn't coming because he was occupied by the company of another woman. So Sammy is left there abandoned by him because apparently there was a bad storm that blocked off the roads from her being able to leave. The cabin Travis set up only had very little food. Eventually the power goes out due to the storm. Sammy was out of food & wood to burn to keep her warm. So she eventually had to wonder into the forest to chop wood. That is where she gets injured & unconscious.

Then Orgath comes into the story. Turns out he was hunting in the human realm for food. He discovers that Sammy got caught in his trap. Even though she was human he didn't feel right leaving her to die so he brings her with him into his realm. She eventually wakes up in his cabin. They have a lot of disagreements at first. Even though there is a lot of disagreements they are sexually attracted to each other. Both of them are very hard headed so their relationship starts off rough. Apparently Sammy's stubbornness impresses Orgath more than he let's on to her. They overtime begin to get along. Sammy opens up showing him her soft side. He is then touched by it & wants to comfort her.

So eventually I came to learn in the story that humans weren't actually allowed in Orgath's realm. He tries disguising Sammy as his half orc & half fae wife just to go into town there.  His 2 closest cousins run into him. They notice a lot of missing information about his wife & their marriage.  So Orgath comes open to them about her being human. However,  the rest of the town doesn't know that yet in the story. They are however very curious of her & notice a lot of missing links to her being half orc & half fae.

Eventually after their experience of going to town they open up more with each other. Their friendship grows stronger along with their sexual appetite for each other. They eventually do make love & become more than just friends. They throughout this book make love a lot with each other. So there's no spicing up their love life at all in this story! Well eventually the ruler of the clan Lark comes by the cabin to see who this wife is the others spoke about. When Lark made a surprise visit there was no way they could get Sammy back into the disguise. So Orgath came clean about Sammy. Lark wanted a human wife too. (In order to understand more about the rules & way things run in this realm with how the elf government body is involved I am going to have to tell you to either go read the book or listen to the audiobook. Sorry don't want to get into all of that in this book review. Plus it would be good for you to hear or read this story for yourself.)

So eventually Lark does kidnap Sammy while she is pregnant for Orgath's baby. A lustful unicorn comes to her rescue while she is changed up in Lark's dungeon. He does her the favor of putting all of the bad guys in the castle into a deep sleep. This gives Orgath & his army time to slaughter off Lark & his gang of thugs. So after that Orgath saves Sammy & they all celebrate in an orgy they call "The Bloodlust." (I am telling you go check this story out!) After Lark's death Orgath can now claim his right to the throne.

Orgath & Sammy are now basically King & Queen.  The elves have been going into the human realm for their own agendas. Sammy really misses her family & asks Orgath if she can go visit them. Orgath & some of his allies accompany Sammy on her trip. Her parents are shocked to see her & confused by the none human possie she comes with. The orcs, the troll, & Sammy's human family do overtime bond. Unfortunately Sammy & her group have to leave because of the prejudice towns people.  Just really sad. Goes to show some of the worst in humanity.

Well the last chapter ends with Sammy, Orgath, & their gang going back to their realm. However,  the story thankfully does not end there! In the prolong the story ends with Orgath's narrating. He tells of life back in their realm after they had the baby. It is a very beautiful ending.

Overall I absolutely loved this story! This story had so much passion & wasn't just about sex. It had a fantastic storyline along with humor & so many different emotions.  Had plenty of adventure & action in it. I personally would give this book a 5 star rating easily.  I can honestly say it is one of my favorite books! Yes, in this book review I gave some big spoilers.  However there is a lot I left out just incase someone reading this decides they want to read this book now or go listen to the audiobook book of it for free on YouTube.  Again, I left the information of how to find it in the beginning part of this blog. You know I do plan on getting the sequel of this book. It is called, "The Trolls Bride." While Sammy was visiting her family Sammy's best friend Kate had a romantic connection with the troll that came with them. I figured if I read the sequel then I will hear bits of information about Orgath & Sammy in it. They just won't be the main characters if that makes sense.

Anyways, if you took the time to read this long a$$ blog, then you for sure are interested enough to check out the story in general.  I am telling you that you won't regret it!

Oops found a spelling error. Will just fix it like this for now.

* A lustful unicorn comes to her rescue while she is chained up in Lark's dungeon. *
