Music journey of 2021

Ok for one of my 2021 new year’s resolutions I decided to expand my music horizons. Ya’know when a friend recommends a band to you and you say “ooo I’ll check them out” but then you don’t? Well, I’m gonna check out all the bands I’ve been meaning to! I have a running list of bands I’m going to listen to and discographies I need to finish; so far I’ve listened to:

• Paramore

• The rest of Red Vox’s discography

• The King of Limbs and A Moon Shaped Pool from Radiohead

• Florence + the Machine*

For every new artist I find that I like I will make a playlist and add it to this Spotify folder https://open.spotify.com/folder/4de412a2ea068c62. *I didn’t particularly vibe w/ Florence so that’s why there isn’t a playlist for her. I try to include singles/B-sides and not skip songs when I listen (you probably won’t see live versions or remixes). There are already some playlists from bands I already like but some of them have solo work that I’ve been checking out. So, that’s what I’ll be using my Spacehey for, cataloging this journey and making friends! I won’t be taking any recommends from here because the list is already really long:
