Well, 2023 is coming to an end. I completely forgot I had an account here haha. Now it's time to catch everyone up on what's happening.
I went out of town starting in mid-January, going to Los Angeles, and went completely all over in SoCal. I visited Disneyland, San Diego, Hollywood, and Warner Brothers Studios. I was on set for a music video for the first time and did location scouting for an artist who used to be friends with "Ye." Nice guy :)
February was when I spent 3 weeks in Europe. I spent about 20 hours in Barcelona, should've gotten a hotel outside of the airport because I STAYED IN THE AIRPORT ALL THROUGHOUT THE 20 HOURS!!! Mistakes were heavily made, and I stayed up with the homeless throughout the whole time. It's great to know that Barcelona airport allows the homeless to sleep at the airport basements. Anyway, I finally made it to Hamburg, Germany. I spent time with family and friends and also made new friends along the way. I somehow managed to get on a bus shuttle and went and visited Poznan, Poland for 3 days. I got to explore the city with a few friends and make new friends along the way. A lot of people were concerned about my sanity without wearing a jacket, especially at a restaurant where I got pierogi (Cheese and Mashed Potatoes). The waiter gave me a crash course history behind pierogi and I was just amazed. I got to catch up with friends in Quickborn and saw them on a few occasions. Before I left Europe, I ended up taking a road trip with a few friends and ended up in Amsterdam. Got to see some old friends and made new friends along the way. I finally got to see a good friend of 8 years too. Coffeeshops in Amsterdam are fun :)
After Europe, I went to take a layover in Finland and finally made it to South Korea! I haven't been back in years, since I was adopted to be exact. It was underwhelming and overwhelming at the same time. I really don't know how to explain it. I got to see where I'm originally from, as well as visit the DMZ, Busan, Daejeon, and much more. I got to see old friends and made new friends too. I was very fortunate to visit my adoption agency and they were super supportive. I really should write a letter to her really soon. A lot has happened.
After that, I did make a quick trip to Los Angeles, California. Just spent time with my dad. Nothing special. I also visited Sunriver, Oregon with a side of Bend, Oregon, and visited the last blockbuster in the world!!!
Now, it's close to the end of the year and I'm about to start working my next full-time job working at the Hyatt! This will give me the chance to relocate and start having more opportunities outside of the home than ever before, plus the perks and benefits :)
My next post will be about my goals for 2024 and how I will gain it!
