Went to watch a movie!! "Thanksgiving: one last meal" (review) ★

★ Hiii I decided I will actually start Blogging some cool things I do instead of just posting stuff in my Bulletins, just for fun!! :)

Okay so my grandma wanted to go to the movie theatre, she asked me what I wanted to see and we checked what they were showing today.. WE HAD TO GO TO DIFFERENT MOVIES because the only kind of movies I like are Horror movies and it just so turned out there was "Thanksgiving" today at 15:20

We arrived wayyy too early... I had my popcorn at 15:00 and had to wait 20 minutes 😭😭 It was okay though because I had my phone but like guess what..??

I had the entire room to myself for the first 30 minutes of the actual movie?? Like I was alone in that room for like an hour (≈20 minutes waiting, 10 minutes commercials, 30 minutes of the movie). 

I was honestly scared SHITLESS because the movie I was watching was a Slasher (slashers are movies where there's a murderer killing people like Scream, Chucky, Halloween, etc..) and I was so paranoid for some reason what if someone murdered me right in there!! 

Ofc nothing happened LOL but I almost yelped when some girls walked in (turns out they were late) (really late 💀). Other than those 3 girls though I was alone

Anywaysss, for the movie itself I was honestly a little worried it would be some pro colonizing bullshit because Thanksgiving (the holiday) is pretty much about that but the movie wasn't so yayyy... IT WAS A VERY AMERICAN MOVIE THOUGH in my opinion. Could've talked more about how thanksgiving shouldn't be a celebration but its a Horror movie so like eh 

I WAS ALSO WORRIED IT WOULD BE SOME KIND OF "HALLOWEEN" KNOCKOFF 

It definitely had an okay twist that's all I'll say not to spoil the movie to anyone :)

But like the beginning was INSANE.. I'll stay vague but the "hysteria" kind of deal made me So uncomfortable, NOT in an actually bad way you know just in a Horror movie way!! It was definitely something LMAOO 

It also had quite a few jumpscares that made me jump in my seat.. ESPECIALLY THE END JUMPSCARE it got me so bad for some reason even if I was semi expecting it?? They grow the tension, release it and make us think its okay then BOOM jumpscare! 

Additionally I would say I really liked the killer. They're SO fucking unhinged it's insaneee?? Like it had me gasping out loud a few times  

Something I really like about Slashers is how they always have you guessing for who's the killer and at the end it's never who you ended up settling your suspicions for.. like at some point you suspect that guy then it points you in an ENTIRELY different direction then at the end turns out it WAS the guy and youre like UGH!!!! I knew it!!!!!

It was also prettyyyy gory... Like they had a lot of fake blood to spare. It wasn't the BEST gore I've seen in a Slasher movie but I think it was alright.. not the most natural though 

Overall I think it was a pretty good movie & if I had to rate it I'd give it a 3.5 on 5 !! I DON'T recommend it to anyone who isn't a fan of gory scenes or stuff like that :) it's definitely not the type of movie to keep me up at night shaking in my boots though I will sleep like a baby

On another note the popcorn made my tummy hurt </3
