I went and visited this really cute town with my family that was full of all sorts of small antique shops and diners! First, we woke up at the hotel and decided to go to a diner that I didn't get pictures of but that was still really cozy on the inside. It's one of those diners that all of the locals eat at and that's only open for around a few hours each morning. We had to wake up pretty early just to be sure we could eat there lol.
After that, we went to check out a few of the antique stores which I did take a lot of photos of. Each of these antique stores were full of christmas decor and all sorts of really old memorabilia, there was no way I was gonna be able to fit all of it in one photo so I took a whole lot (including a video!)

My dad especially was really into the whole thing since there was all sorts of stuff he remembered from his childhood. We found an old cub scouts uniform and he said it looked just like the kind that his brother used to wear when they were kids!
There was also a lot of nice painted portraits in this antique store that I thought just looked really, really pretty so I was sure to take photos of them. It felt like walking through one of my great old aunt's home lol.
In the end, I only brought two items which were jerky! I like to try different jerky when I travel just because its a fast and easy way to eat food/meat that you've never eaten before. This time I got Boar and Elk jerky. I've only eaten the Elk right now, and I have to say that it wasn't all that tasty. It wasn't nasty, it was just surprisingly really bland and not that salty or flavorful. I tried to get my sister to eat some, but the smell alone turned her away from it lol. She hated that it makes you smell like jerky if you touch it.

After we did that, we stopped again to a General store that was secretly a BAKERY. And they sold all kinds of pie. But they were only down to single slices when we stopped so all my family could get were single slices of pie. They also had really old soda, and my sister spotted shirley temples in the fridge, so that's what we brought. The bottles are really cute and the soda's not too bad either. I'm not even that big a fan of cherry but this soda is pretty good.
And yes those ARE real candy cigarette's in the back, so cool lol.I was tempted to get one to see what those also tasted like, but I changed my mind since I already had pie to eat. All in all, it was a pretty nice day out in this cute little town. I didn't spend a lot, but I did enjoy the sight seeing!
