The only type of "cringe" or cringe culture that's acceptable imo is the kind where it's someone actively making an ass of themselves and you laugh at them, instead of it just being like "hey look at these people in a fandom, that's CRIIIINGE right?" Like the kinda vdeos that make you wanna shrivel up and die is the kinda cringe I like (and like to laugh at).
For some good examples of what I mean, footage of a furry/anime convention doesn't count as "cringe" to me. If it's someone acting like an absolute fool of themselves at the con, then THAT'S proper cringe. Like for a good example of what I consider to be that kinda cringe:

And that's the only type of cringe I will accept.
TL;DR: Cringe comedy is funny, cringe culture is lame.

Nah I think people thinking stuff is cringe is 100% okay, it is good that it exists imo because some things need to be judged and laughed at like gore lovers and just edgelords in general
people who say cringe culture is dead are hypocrites because we all find something cringe, how could we not? it is human, to cringe at things
cringing is a reaction, isn't ableist to say you think something is cringe. because it is just an emotion we all feel really, can't take it away
True, admittedly I dont have a real issue with the concept of finding things cringe (because like you said, you can't really help it), I do it a lot myself :P
I only have a real issue when people use cringe culture to bully people, just point and laugh at a distance and move on, harassing people over it is some lame shit.
