I should make a comic series.

So lately I have been really into the Scott Pilgrim franchise. (big surprise wow. it was only a matter of time, really.)

I've seen the movie a bunch of times, and am currently reading the comic series. I might finish watching the show after that. But reading the books made me realise that maybe I should give comics a try. I've always been interested in comics, and have made a few strips here and there. But I want to make a Scott Pilgrim inspired story about how tricky life can be. I think it would be cool. I've actually drawn a few people in the art style, and I thought to myself "Man, these could make pretty sweet characters." I want my story to be less, action-y, though. I don't want people to look at it and be like "oh it's a Scott Pilgrim rip-off. Lame." but rather "Oh, this is a Scott Pilgrim inspired story about how life can be funky and weird, and how we should enjoy the little things, because we won't be able to forever. Cool!". But I have been very busy with life, so who knows if it'll actually even make it to comic form anytime soon. I think I will write the story itself, slap it on AO3, and work on the comic itself whenever I have free time. But only time will tell.
