Not a single new number in today’s date! Can’t say that for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the 14th. That’s a Thursday. I’ll be even more excited Thursday than I am today. After Thursday, it’s a Friday. And this Friday is the Friday that we get out for Christmas break. We get nearly 20 days off for break! I think they were planning on 2 weeks, but due to OTHER holidays and meetings, bad scheduling, we get even more days off. I’m excited! But, for today, well.. I’m still waiting. My teachers board said 2 1/2 days until break. Because of the half day on Friday, most people wont be there. On half days, you just go to school for about 3 or 4 hours, then get to go home. Most parents wont leave at 11 in the morning or 12 in the afternoon to pick up their kids from a day at school where they didn’t even learn anything. I’m just going on the half day for 2 reasons. I want to have the novelty of being at school for a few hours then getting to go home for a 20 day weekend. I also need to give my friends their Christmas gifts! I got one girl a book. Another girl, who adores the Stitch character from Lilo and Stitch, is getting a collectors edition Stitch vinyl pack. 

My other friend is getting a couple more things. She’s getting a blanket, expensive pencils, and 2 extreme coloring books. For another friend, she’s getting a pack of Five Nights at Freddy’s stickers, a Gudetama wall graphic, and a cute penguin stuffie. If possible, my mom is also getting a teddy bear so her and I can match our bears. Those latter 2 are also getting their favorite candies! I hope they like their gifts. 

But to know that, I just have to wait. Right now, we’re watching the animated grinch movie in Enrichment. I wished we had something fun to do in Geography or Math, but we dont. In geography, kids have to finish their country’s presentation. In Math, we have to reevaluate our skills. I don’t quite know what we’ll do in ELA. I hope we just have a free day. Only time will tell.
