"We don't have this in Islam"

Disclaimer: No hate to Muslims!!!  I love you all, sorry this person I'm talking about gives you guys a bad name.

A lot of people at my school come from cultures where arranged marriages are common.  One person in particular, who we'll call "S" is very pro-arranged marriages.  Arguing with him about it is like arguing with a wall, he just keeps repeating, "but it's better".  

To a slightly different topic, there's a Senior at my school who's dating a Freshman.  General consensus is that she's a creep.  I was talking about it with some other students before 6th period, including S.  S decides to give his two cents on the situation, saying:

"You see, we don't have stuff like this in Islam".  He was referring to our previous arguments about dating.  His dislike for it and everyone else's confusion at his position.

DUDE.  YOU JUST TOOK A PREDATORY RELATIONSHIP AND SOMEHOW MADE IT ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF ARRANGED MARRIAGES.  AND YOUR POINT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE.
