It's midnight and I keep thinking about the ancient hand prints on cave walls found in France. There were multiple different hand prints but most of them were from children which meant creating art was seen as a group activity. Some children's hand prints were too high up which meant they needed to be lifted for them to reach!
So isn't it just beautiful that humanity has always had this innate need to create and be remembered.
We graffiti on walls that we've been here, we write our favorite lyrics or quotes on bathroom stalls, we carve our love in trees and over 13,000 years ago these little kids left their hand prints behind just to show the world that they've been here!

my biggest motivation to continue my passion (music) is the hope that, in some way, i will be remembered. i like that it's just human nature to think that way. everyone, in one way or another, wants to be remembered for at least a little while. it's sweet, i think.
Anything we create will be remembered. Maybe by a million people, maybe by one person who stumbled across it and it didn't leave their mind or maybe by your family and friends who found it inspirational that you have this profound love for creating music!
