first blog ??!!??! wow

howdy this is my first blog?!! I've never really used sites like this (before my time...) but was recommended by my pal quinn.

im a freshman in college, i literally just finished up my first semester, i have a shit roommate, im majoring in bio w/ a focus in ecological, environmental, and organismal biology. my dream is to be a wildlife biologist, i really want to be out and about and visiting different places for a living and ive loved animals since i was itty bitty.

over winter break i really want to play some video games, i don't really get a chance to while i'm at college because i dont have a tv or any consoles. i have my laptop but i cant do much with it besides like, minecraft. and ive also just been busy with school. i mostly play mario kart for the wii, smash bros for the wiiU, skyrim and oblivion, and fallout: new vegas. 

also have been meaning to read some, i have way too many books right now that i havent read and a lot that ive been meaning to reread. watchmen by alan moore, american gods & anansi boys by gaiman, SPQR by mary beard, a day of fallen night by samantha shannon, a people's history of the u.s. by zinn. et cetera et cetera.

i don't know. i draw a lot too, mostly digitally. idk if i want to link any of it here yet, and i also don't really know how RIP. i have a tumblr and an instagram but im not sure if i want to link them yet. i really need a place for all of my like, normal looking art. a portfolio website or something. i draw some cool things sometimes but i feel like a lot of it is just fanart for children's book series. i need a separate place for just all of the cool, mature, original art.
