[PHIGHTING!] My rant about the new character.

I'm not going to sugar coat it. The new PHIGHTING! Character is only the calm before the storm. The storm, you ask? Two words. Power. Creeping.

Before I explain the character, allow me to explain what Power Creeping is: Power Creeping is when a game (commonly multiplayer games) (like PHIGHTING!) get newer content (the new content being new characters) but slowly makes older characters irrelevant or near impossible to play against the new characters, because the updates are making it so that they are slowly making new characters 10x stronger than the Old Characters. So now that we all know what Power Creeping is, let's talk about the new PHIGHTING! Character that I've been meaning to rant about lately. Gunker.

Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea? Who let this guy in? I hate him. He's ugly and everytime I see him I want to vomit. I'm going to give a rational explanation as to why i hate him so much, though.

First of all, going back to power creeping, his M1 only takes TWO HITS to kill somebody even has tanky as Jacob or Jared. And those guys are known for how they can handle 11 hits from Big Man Ban. So what the hell, devs? Did you just..Forget? There's literally challenges already for this guy. They call it GUNKER BUNK. And it's just everyone goes into a private server and spams M1 and see which team gets the most unfair kills. It's stupid. I've seen friendships that lasted for years get crushed into dust from this challenge alone.

Imagine my shock when I realized that GUNKER, despite getting kills with such ease, is actually in the SUPPORT category? Ok, sure, his primary is called Owie-Be-Gone. He hits people in the face and they get healed. Whatever. I'm not going to play as GUNKER just to go over to the telephone and read the lore with whatever Bronky or whatever his name is has to say about him. I don't care. But look at me in the eyes. And tell me he looks like the kind of guy that can double tap anyone to their immediate DEATH. I'm grateful that the devs at least gave his moves a really slow cooldown, but it doesn't really make up for the fact that he can still KILL ANYONE IN TWO HITS.

Whatever. I'm not trying to sound too angry. I was so shocked by this, that I even joined the PHIGHTING! official server just to see what everyone else thinks about the new character, and nobody has said a single word about him. I've checked dates, I've tried to see what anyone said on the day he was announced and released. But upon checking, and despite the server being extremely active, that was the single day where nobody said a single thing. It's like time stopped for everyone in that server. Or maybe the mods restricted all the channels when he was released? In that case, why has no one said anything about him AFTER the channels were unlocked? Is there something I wasn't informed about? Does everyone else just accept GUNKER? I want to understand. Please, if you have ANY, and I mean ANY information that I should know about, please let me know.

Well, that's all I really have to say about this matter. Maybe I'll give my 2 cents about Jacob some time later. He's kind of in the middle with power-creeping. But anyways, I'm gonna go carve clay.
